One of my part-time jobs is selling stuffs online. I have a website where I sell clothes,accessories and a few gadgets so I promote my products that needs to be sold by convincing people why shopping online is the best option.
Here are my reasons why:

You can shop 24 hours a day, 365 days a year online without leaving your computer desk, without thinking about what to wear, get sweaty and eventually be grumpy while shopping and comparing prices from one place to another. All you need is subscribe to an online store, browse the products, click the “buy now” button, enter your details and pay. When purchasing e-book or audio book, nothing beats shopping online too. Right after you pay, the item can be downloaded in minutes.
You can pay through credit card or paypal which is a very secure way of shopping online.So no need to fall in line, whine about how long it takes the cashier and the packer to complete your purchase.
2. Better deal, better prices
Shopping online is cheaper than shopping in a physical store. Why? Because you shop directly from the manufacturer in case you’re a wholesaler or a reseller. Another reason is the online store doesn’t rent a physical building which costs them money and will eventually make the goods more expensive. And shopping online is tax-free in some countries for another few years. Therefore online shops can offer good deals for customers who prefer online shopping and they give big discounts too if you do buy in bulk.
3. Click and compare
When you shop online especially when you compare prices, designs or color, you don’t need to go from one shop to another, travel the distance or get stuck in traffic. The convenience of online shopping is right on the internet and its just a click away.
4. Great savings
This doesn’t mean the discounts that you can get if you buy in bulk or the rebates rather the savings that you can have on the money you spent for gas or taxi fare when you go to your favorite boutique or the local department store or on the food or drinks after a very tiring day or when you get a massage when you get leg cramps when walking from one store to another. When shopping online you can have a foot massage or a pedicure while browsing online and call food delivery when you’re too tired to cook. One advantage is when the item you’re looking for is not available in your local shop or in your country. Shopping online allows you to purchase from the other side of the world.
5. Wide selection of products
One thing that’s good about online stores is you have a wide array of choices like style, brand, color and size. These stores also bring the customers the latest trend internationally, everything is just a click away.
6. No compulsive shopping
The tendency with physical stores is that you tend to be tempted to buy unnecessary things that you don’t need because of how good the salesperson is in persuading us, or when we see something in the window, and even if we don’t need it we thought maybe we need it because its on sale. Shopping online can save us thousands of bucks from impulsive shopping because we only look for things that we need and in case we tend to get attracted into buying this pretty stuff yet its out of our reach so we just forget about buying it.
7. Annoying Crowd
No one wants to sweat all day while competing for other customers to dig on sale items and even when at the cashiers. I mentioned “sweat” which can be smelly and not the best smell one has to encounter. The crowd, the crying babies, running toddlers, pain-in-the-ass grannies, traffic especially during rush hours and no parking space are sometimes annoying and especially if its very hot. I have the choice of not incurring any of these so I prefer shopping online.
8. Sending Gifts
The convenience of online shopping also offers us to send gifts to our friends, family or lovers on special occasions such as birthdays, christening, weddings, anniversaries, or graduation. Many online shops cater delivery such as flowers, chocolates, cakes, cookies, stuffed toys, perfumes, pillows, fruits etc. can use Therefore, distance is no longer an excuse of not sending a gifts in these occasions.
9. Online Search box
Another thing that is amazing about online stores is their search box which allows you to find the product you’re looking for together with other products so you can compare. Imagine those times you asked the store assistant who barely knows the products in the store and where to get it, that pissed you off! Online stores on the other hand comes in handy; search, click then you have it.
10. Reviews
People are attracted to shops who have got substantial reviews mainly because they want to know if the products are good or the shop is legitimate. That’s why they have the customer’s feedback or reviews in online shops to testify that the shop is existing. I don’t want to buy anything online without reading any reviews about the product because I don’t want to purchase anything crap and dodgy.
11. Free shipping
Some shops offer free shipping if you buy in bulk and some stores offer gift cards or rewards if you use your credit card in shopping.
12. Second-hand shopping
If you are tight with your budget or if you’re a wise-spender or would just like something you want but can’t find it but only at a second-hand store like antics and other collections, the internet is the best place to find what you’re looking for.
